How it all began
The first why - K&K Personal Store was born from a love for personalized gifts and home items. The mother of “K” and “K” is the primary inspiration of the business. Her love for personalized items grew up with her and eventually, her daughters. From labeled school books, notebooks to labeling practically anything and everything. The discovery of their passion sparked from common interests and prolonged excitement in the midst of all things uniquely personal(ized).
The second why - The brand came to life in 2015 to fill a space in the gift-giving industry. Inspired by the saying, “It’s the thought that counts,” the team behind K&K decided to work on an avenue where gift-givers can personally be involved in the creative process of a gift’s development. A collaboration between or among people is something to celebrate. It's something K&K wanted to center on, whether it be something to be given or something to be personally owned.
The third and biggest why - Back to the time of supplier, material and product hunting, the team started meeting talented and skilled Filipino workers. K & K became inspired to not only support what they do but to share them with the rest of the world. This started the creation of beautiful and timeless pieces that amplify Filipino capabilities and craftsmanship. With each product, you not only support their livelihood, but also, lift up their spirits. K&K’s now takes pride in supporting all things local.
